Gluten-free recipe of the week

Wheat is considered an inflammatory food that can be linked to many conditions include leaky gut, dysbiosis, arthritis and, of course, Celiac disease. Here are some useful recipes and tips to help you on your gluten-free journey.



Here's my favourite gluten-free muffin recipe. It uses almond meal instead of wheat flour and honey or maple syrup instead of regular white sugar. I also like that you get both a vegetable and a fruit all in one muffin.


I found this awesome recipe in one of my favourite recipe books called "Run Fast. Cook Fast, Eat Slow" by Shalane Flanagan and Elyse Kopecky. If you're interested, the recipe book can be found at your local Chapters store.
