Low sugar recipe of the week

Do you want dessert but don't want the sugar? This recipe uses natural sugar in small quantities and healthy fats.

Eating healthy doesn't mean you have to stop eating dessert. Every once in a while, I have a craving for chocolate. I'm human! cocoa has great antioxidants - it gets a bad reputation because of all the sugar added to the store-bought kind.

This is my favourite chocolate pudding recipe. It has few ingredients, it's extremely easy to make and the ingredients are all healthy. The ingredient that gives this pudding its creaminess is avocado. Yes, you heard that right - this pudding recipe includes a vegetable! But trust me, you won't even know it's there...which makes it a good recipe to sneak veggies into your kids.

The benefits of avocado are numerous: it contain antioxidants that can help reduce oxidative stress, vitamins C, E, and K that support the liver, magnesium and potassium to support the cardiovascular system, fiber for repairing the gut and finally, some B5 to support our adrenals. Wow, now you understand why avocado is considered a very healthy fat. So eat this pudding with a clear conscience. Enjoy!
